Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

Student Council

The Student Council plays a very important role in our school. They help share students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with the teachers and principal. They help the students raise funds for schoolwide projects. They assist the community when they are in need of aid. Being on Student Council is something that will help our students become responsible and active members of the community.

Representatives:

-Attend after-school meetings
-Meet with classmates to discuss ideas and concerns
-Work with special events / recycling
-Serve as a positive role model to other students

Their classmates elect student council representatives. Students in the 3rd-5th grade may also decide to run for a Student Council officer position.
